Dora and a Birthday Party!

We've had a busy few days since Hannah got over her sickness. Last Friday, we all went to see the Dora the Explorer show in downtown Raleigh at Memorial Auditorium. We all had lots of fun! During the first part of the show Hannah was acting very shy and we finally figured out that she thought the characters were speaking directly to her. She was ignoring the fact that there were lots of other parents and kids there. On Sunday, Hannah's school friend, Alexa, had a birthday party at a local kid's gym. Hannah had a blast! So much so that she didn't want to leave and broke down in tears when it was time to go. The girl does love to have fun! She has one more ballet class then it's on to swim lessons in March. She's a busy bee. More later...

On Monday of this week, Hannah was sick with a stomach bug. She did nothing but sleep all day. She stayed home from school on Tuesday, but she seems to feel better now. She went back to school today. More later...

Sliding!

Hannah does love the slide!

Hannah was feeling much better yesterday so we went exploring through the nature park and found a new playground at the elementary school close to us. She had lots of fun walking through the woods and, of course, playing on the slides. We saw ducks, too! More later...

Hannah's sick!

Well, Hannah has a cold. She's been under the weather a couple of days now. She even had to stay home from school today and she was not happy about that at all. Last night, Eric & I were watching TV downstairs when we heard a thud from upstairs. We went to find out what had happened and she'd fallen out of bed. She was still asleep on the floor. Eric picked her up and put her back to bed and she never woke up. Hopefully she'll feel better tomorrow. More later...

Walking at Lake Lynn

Hannah and I went for a walk this morning over at our old stomping grounds - Lake Lynn. We had not been in a really long time and we had accumulated lots of duck food (stale crackers, etc.). There were lots of hungry ducks and geese to feed but we didn't feed the seagulls that were hanging around. They were bigger pests than the geese. More later...
