It's Fall!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Summer flew by and now fall is as well. Hannah's last year of preschool has been going great. She goes 5 days a week and really has a good time. Next year, it's off to kindergarten! Since I was last here we've been to the beach (July), had Hannah's 5th birthday (September), heading to Busch Gardens & Williamsburg (tomorrow) and waiting for the State Fair (6 days away!). We also had Hannah's 5 year check-up and she's in the 95th percentile for height still. She's a growing girl! I've posted some beach pictures in her picture album, so take a look. More later...

Spring has sprung!

Hey there! I've posted some pictures from our recent Missouri trip in Hannah's photo album. We drove there during Hannah's spring break. Other than that trip, we've been staying around home for the most part. We've been going to the NC Museum of Art a lot lately and walking around the outside park. Lots of stuff to look at there. There's also less than 2 months of school left! Then summer and summer camps and more fun! More later...

February already!

Hello all!

It's February already and Hannah only has 4 months of school left. The school year has been flying by. Hannah's had a great school year and she has a best friend - Anne-Louise. Next year, Hannah will be in her last year of preschool and she'll be going to school everyday from 9-12pm. She's very excited about that and she'll have several of her current classmates in her class next year. We'll be thinking about kindergarten before we know it!

We just had our first snow of the year (about 5 inches) and Hannah had a great time sledding and playing in it. But it just won't go away! Hannah's school was closed this past Monday, but she'll go back tomorrow. She's ready!

Not much going on other than that. Just staying busy doing stuff that needs to be done. I'll post some pictures here soon, but if you're on Facebook, there are some current snow pictures and videos out there.

The things Hannah says...

Daddy: (to Mommy) "Give her a second to put on her shoes."
Hannah: "And give me a third to put my coat on."

Mommy: "We're leaving to go pick up Daddy, so go try to use the bathroom."
Hannah: "Ughhhhhh" (Falls on floor.)
Mommy: (in a firm voice) "I said, go try to use the bathroom before we leave the house."
Hannah: (More rolling around on the floor.)
Mommy: (in a much firmer voice) "Go to the bathroom, now."
Hannah: "Mommy, you make my tears come out and my heart turn to ice!"
Mommy: (leaves room as to not laugh)

Mommy: "Hannah, one day you'll move out and go to college."
Hannah: (as face starts to crumple) "But, I don't want to move out. I never want to move out."
Hannah: (continuing to fall apart in Rudino's Restaurant. Ma-Ma, Daddy and Mommy try to keep a straight face.) "Boohoo!!!"
Mommy: (trying anything at this point to calm Hannah down) "Do you want me to go to college with you?"
Hannah: (tears finally begin to slow down) "Yes, Mommy."
